Page One of a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fancomic. Panel One: Saguaro says, "What should Ar—ahem, this young man—do to increase the effectiveness of his Meal Powers?" Florian replies, answering through a text-to-speech on their Rotom Phone, "Ar... ven?" Arven visibly reacts with a blue exclamation mark and a shocked expression as he flushes. Panel Two: Saguaro clears his throat with an "Ahem..." before continuing on in smaller and out-of-focus text, saying, "I cannot disclose the identity of this certain male student who enjoys the culinary arts." Panel Three: As Saguaro talks, out-of-focus, Arven glares at Florian, still blushing. Florian wears a cheeky expression. Panel Four: Saguaro continues, still out-of-focus, saying, "It may very well be Arven, but it may not be!" Arven is still glaring behind him, towards Florian. Panel Five: Saguaro's speech comes back into focus as Arven goes back to paying attention. Saguaro says, "In any case..." Panel Six: "To increase the effectiveness of Meal Powers, your sandwiches must be filled with many different ingredients," Saguaro continues. "For a single person, this may prove difficult." Arven listens with a melancholy expression.

When dealing with a difficult issue, working with others may be the best course of action." Panel Two: Saguaro continues, saying, "I am sure that Arven will likewise work with friends or family to craft his sandwiches in the future." Arven once again visibly reacts to his name being called out, and he flushes. Panels Three and Four are transition panels. Panel Five and Six: Arven grabs hold of a tablecloth and flaps it upwards. Panel Seven: In a forest-y area with mountains in the distance, Arven has set up a picnic. He wipes his forehead and sighs. Panel Eight: Grabbing hold of a loaf of bread, Arven wears a thoughtful expression. Panel Nine: A close-up of a partially-finished sandwich, stacked with a handful of ingredients. Arven thinks, "'Might prove difficult for a single person,' huh? Guess Mr. Saguaro had a point..."

Arven responds, smiling sheepishly, "Oh—yeah! Y'know me. All about that picnic life!" Florian responds, "That's fun! We should invite over Penny and Nemona!" Arven responds, "Uh—?" And is cut off by a short series of transition panels. Panel Four: Penny and Nemona arrive, both smiling. Penny is holding her Rotom Phone in her hands, and Nemona waves, saying, "Heya, guys! Didn't have too much fun without us, didya?"

Panel Two: Arven wears a pensive expression, while Penny and Nemona continue to talk in the background. Penny says, "I got way too used to curry back in Galar, so this'll actually be a nice change of pace." Nemona says, "Lucky that I brought that extra bread!" Panel Three: Surrounded by Arven's thoughts, "...Hah. That's right," is an image of a young Arven, sitting on the ground next to Maschiff.
