its horse time

i watched the mlp movie and subsequently remembered how darn fun it is to draw characters as wonderful colorful ponies? its really fun and i havent done it since i was like 13. highly recommend

pony design is inspired by @jayrockin‘s spectacular tiny sapient ungulates speculative bio ponies, hence the Horse Fingers and such, definitely check that link out. also i just like using the long lion/zebra style tail for unicorns since thats what they look like in classical depictions, and its neat lookin. changeling design is mostly bs’d, kinda just did what looks cool. gradients everywhere!

highly recommend full-viewing these, theyre pretty big! i dont often do digital stuff, especially not colored and everything, so this was fun.

hey hello Larry Didn’t Lie in Turnabout Goodbyes

he gave a good testimony, he literally said exactly what happened. yes, Phoenix had to pick it apart, but he said what he heard. that he heard the gunshot, the the time he heard the gunshot, and he turned the whole case around. without Larry’s help, the verdict wouldn’t have been overturned. his testimony sounded like a mess, but it’s only because he heard a completely different event than Lotta. it comes across as a bad testimony because it contradicted so many facts of the case, but that was the point, and to be honest he didn’t even present it that terribly. it was disorganised because it hadn’t been talked over, but that was the point of it, that he gave the first truly genuine testimony of that entire case and stressed MvK out because he didn’t get a chance to doctor it. Larry was a useful witness and that shouldn’t be overlooked because his testimony was untidy, since that’s the reason it was as useful as it was
