Kat having to carry the family legacy as a detective. She’s so air-headed, brash and unladylike… (Even Sherl points out how often she just gets lucky.)
Why isn’t Flora the one running the Layton Detective Agency? Why not Luke? Why not Emmy? They’re the ones people want to see.
Some days, Kat mopes into the Mystery Room office and Alfendi doesn’t order her to leave. He makes her a cup of hot chocolate while Lucy cheers her up, telling her how amazing she is.
“Papa Prof would be so proud of you.” Lucy turns to Alfendi and winks at him. “Both of you.”
