Rebecca Sugar Came Out As An Nonbinary Woman.

Rebecca Sugar is an bisexual nonbinary woman.
She made Steven Universe, the first cartoon on Cartoon Network made by an nonbinary woman.
She filled the show with representations of nonbinary, gay, polyamorous and other LGBTQ+ characters.
She gave us an wedding between two sapphic nonbinary characters.
The gems are nonbinary women. Stevonnie and Smoky Quartz are nonbinary people.
She blew any arguments out against the gems being nonbinary out of the water, they’re just going to look even more foolish and nonsensical.
This is so validating as an person who identifies not only identifies as an nonbinary person, but as an woman as well.
She gave us representation, by creating and being herself. I’m so proud of Rebecca for creating LGBTQ+ representation, and I’m so proud of Rebecca for coming out as an bisexual and as an nonbinary woman. She is so inspiring, Rebecca shows that it can be done. LGBTQ+ people can create and be role models. We exist and we can inspire.
