This is my brother Christian.

He has been full body paralyzed for about 5 years now due to multiple fractures on the spine he got in an accident.
He used to me the most reliable and hard working person i know, he had to adapt to his current state, which include getting sick a lot due to the weakened immune system of his body.
He had multiple surgeries done in the past years just to keep him alive and cant breathe on his own anymore.
he is at the intensive care unit for the moment and the doc said he’s not gonna make it much longer his body had to fight so much he is getting weaker every day.
They put him in an artificial coma so he doesn’t have to suffer from the pain he’s going through.

The hospital is roughly about 2 hours away from where we live and of course we want to be with him for the time he has left
i feel bad for asking for others help who aren’t involved in this but my mother cant work at the moment shes emotionally unstable, we all are for now
yet we have to pay for the gas and the high hospital parking fees
if you cant help its fine but please pray for him
his chance to survive is almost none but whatever happens we want to be there for him i don’t want my mom to worry about how were gonna survive the month

if you want to help us out my paypal is exliiii@yahoo.de

The donations are almost all used up for the cars gas please donate if you can or boost this

My mom wants to go back to work within a few days to keep her distracted in the morning since the hospital only allows visitors to stay from 2pm to 8pm. But until then we depend on donations and im thankful for every single one weve gotten so far

Even if you can only donate a dollar it already helps

Me, after drawing this months and months ago: “Yeah, that’s a good side profile I drew there! I’m proud.”

Me, now: “Jesus Christ boy oh boy was I delusional haha wow what a piece of actual-”

I PLAN ON FINISHING THIS ONE OF THESE DAYS. “Be Somebody” by Thousand Foot Krutch gives me feels, man.

(Uploaded in three parts now because apparently I still don’t understand how to post on Tumblr properly… my bad).

So I want to address a question that someone left for me about my BFA project. “The animation is great! I have no idea why it was made into a Spanish-theme, though. I don’t understand the point.”

For those of you that don’t know, my BFA project is an animated TV show titled “Candied Magic” which is a retelling of the Hansel and Gretel fairytale, mine being set in Mexico with a few twists.

I have received more backlash from this project that I expected, people writing racist comments about it to people asking me why I didn’t keep the characters white like the original story.

And my answer to this comment is simple enough. Because I want to see more diversity. I don’t have to be a minority to want that. There is not a single white person in my show and why does there need to be? Why can’t I retell this fairytale in a different and honestly beautiful culture? Mexico has some awesome and bizarre candy! It works perfectly! So if people can’t look past the skin color of my characters then frankly I don’t want them watching my show. I have a series of projects where I retell fariytales set to different cultures. It started with Stroke of Midnight, Cinderella in Italy, and I have no plans of stopping.

The best part of BFA was reading the comments from people who belong to this amazing culture. I had people come up to me saying they hadn’t expected to walk into the show and see their culture portrayed. That made me happier than anything else, for my characters to represent an amazing culture that we are finally seeing more of in animation and media, as well as people who don’t belong to the culture being introduced to some of it!

So to those who claim “don’t see the point”, I doubt you ever will.
