I had a dream that Miles Edgeworth kept a baby duckling in his breast pocket everywhere he went and it would occasionally make tiny peeping sounds while he’s in the middle of court
Also at one point the duckling just stuck its lil head out and peeped angrily at a witness it was fucking fantastic

The baby duck is a girl and Edgeworth named it Charleston because he likes the name and it’s a fucking duck, he can name it whatever he wants regardless of gender
Also he consults Charleston when he’s trying to confront a case like,
“Charleston, what do you make of this? The bullet is crushed, so there are no ballistic markings, but no blood either…”
“Peep!”
“You’re right, it was a warning shot!”
He takes her very seriously and gets angry at people who laugh in their presence. Charleston deserves respect. He will tolerate no outrageous behaviour or outbursts regarding his partner in the middle of court.
