theres this websie called gramunion and i discovered that it’s like. Mass stealling art from tumblr??? Alot of my old art is on there and there’s some of hug’s art too.
So like. They take a bunch of posts from various tags and just copy them to their website??
they had some art from my art tag and im kind of very upset about it.
they have what looks like a link crediting the artist on the bottom of their pictures??? So I clicked on the one crediting my picture and it lead to this
I’m still on their website. It gives the name of my blog, but nowhere does it have a link to the actual tumblr website. And it has a lot of stuff that I’ve reblogged??? none of the reblogged stuff is credited from what I can find. And I reblogged some of those pictures today, meaning this website is CURRENTLY taking art without informing the original artists. I’m very upset about this, I mean, at least they’re crediting the artists, but I find it odd that they don’t link to my website, so if anyone was using this website, they would have to go out of their way to search me up on tumblr to contact me or comment on my art (I feel like it would be kind of unlikely for someone to do that though. :/ ) and there are some posts that aren’t art on there (They had a pcture of my boyfriend’s cat). it seems to be random what pictures they put on there??? They didn’t have ALL of the art from my art tag, but they had some that were much more popular than others, and I just found it disturbing that this random website was hording my art in a way. They could’ve at least asked me first.
I’m going to try and contact them and see if they take my art down. Wish me luck.
