I just saw the wonder movie (I had read the book in 5th grade) and I guess I had never realised how gay jack and august are
There was a scene in the book where they were texting each other and making up to each other (Jack had said that he would kill himself if he looked like augie but he didn’t really mean it he only said that cuz the group of kids he was hanging out with were dickwads) and in the movie???? They made up over minecraft?!?!? WHAT TH E FUCK?!?!? Excuse me movie but minecraft doesn’t have a notification sound when you send messages (I actually liked that scene fjfhfb)
Jack and augie were really gay fjfhfb like there are two times that jack gets in a fight protecting augie and they hung out together and they hugged a lot and it was so cute???? There’s a scene at the end where they skip rocks over a lake during sunset after they snuck out of a movie and then they watched fireworks together wow like new otp for real
