It's different from the movie because the movie had to tone it down but it's good and it's a short story, the illustrations are pretty creepy
I’ve actually seen a lot of the illustrations from it, I watch a YouTuber who anylizes the movie a lot and she bought it and started using it to come up wi th a theory for how the coraline world works

Tbh I watch that movie at least 3 times a month cuz it’s on netflix
I always have to chuckle to myself when I draw their hair because it’s a health hazard.
