I heard meows for two days but I never saw the cat. She was hiding and bruised. After the rescue I discovered that she was so weak that she hardly breathed. She did not walk, her little body was covered with some skin disease. I found her dragging herself by only her front paws. She has been diagnosed with bladder infection and Miliary Dermatitis. I  received the estimated cost of $900  for 6-7 days in the hospital. I can afford half. She needs fluids, pain medication, antibiotics and intensive home care. I’ve contacted various animal charities but no one will help me. Please, no matter how small the contribution, it helps us tremendously. Share on Facebook help soooo much. (Photos and updates on youcaring. After the treatment I will find a new home for her) Any funds left over will go towards her future spay :) Thank you all so much again ❤

hi i’m going to try to keep this as short as possible but i’m a trans disabled and autistic person of color and my mom recently lost her job which is our only source of income and we have no way of paying for or getting me to my doctor’s/therapy appointments or my meds. my back and leg pain has kept me in bed for the past 2 weeks. my mom is also disabled. we’re in the process of moving so that i can be in the district of a school that will cater to my needs but saving up for the security deposit is putting a huge strain on us financially and we’re struggling to pay bills and buy food on top of everything else please donate if you can, even 50 cents or a dollar helps, thank you http://paypal.me/tposing

pelman asked:

lmao there's three sexes. male, female, and intersex (intersex people are those with a combination of sexual characteristics, there's a lot of variations but in the end they're all intersex) and there's a LOT of genders. gender is your personal identity, sex is your genitalia and other sexual characteristics

realgigihours answered:

Intersex is a birth defect that gets fixed. Stop putting it into your LGBT click

popcorn-central

Reblog if intersex people are valid.

OKAY LISTEN UP BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING SUPER IMPORTANT ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN AND MOST OF YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW

It’s the inclusion of Storm. (Storm? Pretty sure that’s Storm.) And in a way where, yes, representation saves lives.

See, here’s a weird medical fact: black women are more likely to get breast cancer and nobody knows why. It’s a medical mystery. Now, I want you to do a fun exercise: tell me the last time you saw a breast cancer awareness campaign that included black women. Go on, I’ll wait. Speaking as someone active with the cause whose aunt is even more active with the cause, here’s my answer: In eight years of working for awareness across four states, I have never seen a single black woman in any breast cancer campaign. Ever.

Black women are also more likely to die of breast cancer because they’re less likely to catch it early. That’s not genetics, that’s math. The sooner you begin treatment, the better your prognosis. Black women are less likely to know how to do self-exams and because of the socioeconomic divide, less likely to see an OB/GYN annually. And they’re ignored by awareness campaigns.

Tell your black friends. And spread this like wildfire. Because they are more at risk than you are.
