id like to live in the pokemon world because i like the idea of finding a mystery egg on my adventures and taking it with me and after a while it hatches and theres just some sentient car keys in there
pokemon eggs are really interesting because theyre all the same size shape and colour regardless of what species it belongs to so if you just obtain an egg youll never know what you could get. could be pikachu. could be god. could be a crocodile. you just dont know and thats half the fun

that post about gym leaders tweeting that rock and ground are the same type is funny but do you think this has ever been like a point of contention for biologists in the pokemon world. like the way the fairy type wasn’t discovered until recent years and was misclassified as normal type for most of history. do you think professors in the pokemon universe argue over whether certain pokemon have been mistyped or if certain types may actually not exist at all
