TW: Domestic abuse, violence, surgery, abuse mention.
As some of my followers know, I’ve recently been posting about issues my mom is having at home and how I can’t help much since I live in a whole different state than her.
She desperately needs a surgery and she’s been putting it off since February. She’s finally gotten it scheduled for July 12th but she still doesn’t have the proper funds to cover it or the time afterwards for recovery. And to top things off my dad became abusive in the past weeks to the point where she went to the police.
It took a week before they did anything, he was arrested this morning (June 27th) and she needs to go to court tomorrow but we don’t know whether he’ll be given jail time or let go. We don’t know if she’s able to get a divorce after filing against him and we don’t know if he’d lose custody of my two younger sisters. My mom has been struggling to keep herself afloat financially the past few months because my dad is greedy and has refused to help her pay for anything. I’ve given her at least $500 in the past month just to help pay for things my sisters need for school and such. And I’m still planning to give her more in the next few months but this Gofundme is to cover the medical bills right away, the money my older sister and I are giving her is to cover bills in the month following the surgery.

So I’m begging. Please, if you can, donate and if not then please share this. I’ve even put prizes up on the Gofundme, which, the prizes aren’t much but they’re something. They’re tumblr followers, tumblr promos and fanart. If you donate a significant amount I might message you and offer things from my Etsy shop, but please, I am desperate right now to help my mom as best as I can.
