klapollo headcanons!

wrightandjusticelawoffices

- Klavier always gazes at Apollo as though he’s Heaven Incarnate, even before they begin dating. In the first stages of their relationship, Apollo’s always unnerved by the adoration in Klavier’s eyes.

- Apollo wrestles with his feelings for several years, not believing himself to be worthy of Klavier’s affection. Dealing with a dozen inner wounds, all from traumatic events, does not encourage him to pull someone else-someone he happens to care deeply for-into a relationship. His feelings remain a secret as he remains behind in Kurain, as there’s still far too many burdens to carry, far too much guilt, far too much love for the prosecutor. He doesn’t even tell Klavier about his decision to remain behind. Klavier deserves much better than a worn-out, unreliable scumbag of an attorney, right?

But while Apollo’s running his law firm, promoting the rebirth of a war-torn land, he receives a call from Phoenix. He’s in tears, telling the younger attorney that Klavier’s been arrested for murder.

- Cue Apollo tackling an excruciatingly difficult cast, fighting on behalf of the man he’s secretly been in love with for years. It takes an agonizingly long climb up a mountain, in the middle of a blizzard, but Klavier’s freedom is won. Apollo confesses his love for Prosecutor Klavier Gavin, the man he’s been in love with for a lifetime, right there in the middle of the courtroom. The city eats it up because wow, they’re far and beyond adorable, and Phoenix Wright is thoroughly embarrassed because WOW Apollo’s making him look really bad in front of Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth.

- The two of them are incredibly, wildly in love with each other, looking very much like a couple out of a storybook. Apollo’s awkward when expressing affection, and as he receives Klavier’s fervent adoration, but the attorney’s just as infatuated with him as Klavier’s infatuated with Apollo.
