Hey campers, today is the transgender day of remembrance, a day for us to come together and remember our trans siblings, and spread awareness for the harm transphobia causes.
Transgender people are people who have a different gender to the one that they were when they were born; and it is perfectly healthy and normal. However, people are rude and violent towards transgender people, this is called ‘transphobia’.
We give our hearts out to those who have lost their lives due to transphobia, and encourage our transgender followers to stand tall and stay strong, and encourage everyone to take a stance against the violence against our friends.
