Okay, so this is really important.
You know how New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has been pushing the FCC to help him in his efforts to investigate the fraudulent comments left on the FCC website? And you know how he’s gotten no response because the FCC is locking the public out and throwing a feast??
Well, I just found this article from Fortune, and apparently the attorney general AIN’T HAVIN’ THAT SHIT NO MORE. His office has launched a webpage where you can search your name to see if it was ever used to file a fraudulent comment and then file a complaint about said fraudulent use.
I searched my own name, and I’LL BE DAMNED. THERE WAS A FUCK MOTHERING COMMENT THAT I DIDN’T WRITE ALL THE WAY BACK FROM 2014. IN 2014 I WAS EIGHTEEN AND COULDN’T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NET NEUTRALITY AND MY BIG TOE.
And yes, I mean, the comment was in favor of Net Neutrality, BUT I STILL DON’T FUCKIN’ APPRECIATE IT MUCH.
But see, the cool thing about filing a complaint after I searched my name was that I could indicate whether or not the comment submitted matched my true opinion, and I could also leave a comment of my own with my complaint. If you ask me, S-man’s on his shit.
