The Internet allowed me to have a life. It allowed me to create a space to help people like you. It allowed me access to jobs and helped create a business. It allowed me to have a career, an audience, and money in my pocket. It allowed me to not be homeless.
I’m not saying this to brag. I’m saying this because people can use the Internet to carve out their own choices in life. To listen to other people and find role models and to be themselves.
And now, it may be harder and more expensive if the major ISPs have their way.
Will the above graphic be in your future? Maybe or maybe not. But you can’t be sure now, can you?
I posted a lot about Net Neutrality such as:
- A video with my thoughts on it: https://tmblr.co/ZiTBMv2SQBGMJ
- Updating that post: https://tmblr.co/ZiTBMv2SnB6xX
- What the ISPs owns: https://tmblr.co/ZiTBMv2StfLbA
I know there’s a lot of things I can be talking about, but without Net Neutrality, it may be harder to talk to you about them.
So, I beg you, to read up on Net Neutrality today, not just via my posts, but also via other people. Don’t use just Tumblr. Get on other social media sites and talk to people. Engage them to go to BATTLEFORTHENET.com to tell the FCC to STOP the FCC from voting on Dec 14th.
If you’re not going to do it to help people such as myself, you can do it because you’re cheap and you don’t want that damn sign popping up.
