I remember I made a rant on art theft once, and someone responded, “Well,,,, you’re an art thief,,, because you didn’t make your icon,,,, it’s some official video game art crap,,,, you hypocrite,,,” And I was like??? Wow… You do realize that I never once claimed that I drew it, right??? And I credit my icon in the description of my page, so I was really confused..
doing this with anything is an awful hit, but god, there are so many youtube accounts that serve as the last existing records of so many dead people's voices. feels especially perverse
