What the entire fuck????
When we talk about unequal power and inability to give meaningful consent there is probably not a better example than when one person is literally imprisoned and the other is one of the people responsible for the imprisonment. Cops should definitely not be allowed to ‘have sex’ with people in their custody. The room for coercion and outright abuse is way too high.
This reminds me of the Stanford Prison Experiment… And as unethical and narrow as it was, I’d imagine repeating it with gender-separated classes would result in an even more horrendous result. No scientific institution would permit such a study, so why the hell is US Law Enforcement permitted to do this shit with even LESS oversight? I mean we know why, don’t we?
