Coraline Professor Layton AU
@hugthestorm and I came up with an Au. Luke is Coraline, and he and the professor move to the pink palace (Professor adopted Luke in this Au). Luke’s upset because he doesn’t like the new place, and Professor’s too busy with his new archeologist job to pay attention. Don Paolo is Mr. Bobinski (the drunk Russian circus mouse guy who lives upstairs), and Lady Violet is Ms. Spink and Lady dahlia is Ms. Forcible. Emmy is Wybie, but she’s Luke’s age, or maybe like an older teenager, but still younger than she was in the games. She tells Luke about her Granny Riddleton’s missing sister. Then Luke goes into the other world where he meets the Beldam, also known as the other mother in the movie, disguised as Professor Layton. Claire is there as the other father. She’s not alive in this Au, but the doll that Emmy gave Luke knows she exists due to Luke looking at a photograph of her and Layton and being like, “I wish I could’ve met Claire…”. Luke is amazed by other Claire because of his irl issues with his mom going away, and Claire is caring for him like she would her own son. Luke loves the garden, he really really loves the mouse circus, he thinks that the silent other Emmy is cool, and the theatre show is… well… it’s a bit weird, but Luke likes it nonetheless. Other Claire also sings and plays with Luke and other Layton cooks this amazing food. Irl, Layton wouldn’t let Luke get the gloves but in the other world other Layton gives luke the cutest new clothes. Luke isn’t surprised at all when the cat starts talking, I mean, come on, he already talks to animals, instead he kinda finds the cat mean like, “Other Professor’s great what do you mean?!?!” When the cat warns him. AND THEN OTHER LAYTON ASKS LUKE TO SEW BUTTONS ON HIS EYES. Luke panics and tries to go home but fails. He talks to Claire but she’s scary and says that the Beldam (other Layton) did something to other Emmy. Luke tries to run with the cat but just finds the empty part of the world. Then Luke runs into other Layton and??? He has a tea cup??? But it’s full of “Coca beetles from Zenzibar!!” And he just. Takes a big cronch. Of beetles. And smiles creepily at Luke. Luke gets mad, says, “You’re not my real dad” and other Layton gets pissed. He transforms into the spider Beldam Layton thing and shoves Luke in a small room ( “You can come out when you’ve learned to be a loving son!” ). Luke meets 3 ghosts : Flora (Grandma’s missing sister!!), Katia and Arianna. They tell him about the Beldam and to find their eyes. Luke challenges the Beldam to a “Puzzle”. He goes through the challenges to find the eyes, the professor, the spider thing happens, The ghosts thank and warn him, Emmyhelps him kill the hand/get rind of the key, she domes by the next day with her granny for he garden party and Luke gives everyone tea, yadda yadda.
