She noticed his startled look, she’d take a few steps back so she won’t get screeched in his defense.
“I uh… came to say hi, considering everyone hates me.”
I know that feeling. What happened?
“Simply put, scandal.”
She fidgets with her red marker and clipboard.
Why am I here? What did they do? WHY AM I STUCK OUT HERE? HOW DO I GET BACK? WHERE IS X?
“Calm down, Mr. 4, your not stranded here forever, jeez.. I think you got multiplied by 0 or something.”
Leafy backed up more, not wanting to get killed by 4 because of a panic attack.
*four is shaking* I…this isn’t good…I’ve never been without X before…I dunno how to deal with that…I…*he seems to be fighting tears*
Leafy didn’t want touch Four, considering how he’s on edge at the moment and she isn’t risking it.
“D-Don’t worry, friend! I’m sure he’s safe and okay. And uh.. I-It’ll be ooookay?”
Leafy was scared and was reluctant to move any closer or further.
*he makes some kind of half sob noise* I-I…I’m fine…
“Errr, no your not.”
She had a genuine worried expression on her face.
I just…I really want to find X…we’ve always been together…I-I…*he quickly wipes at his eyes, refusing to cry infront of Leafy*
Leafy approached a little closer, holding her hand out.
“E-Er, it’ll be okay. He is okay. Yeah?”
She was very sheepish
*he looks at leafy, tears sparkling in his eyes* *this is the most genuine and vulnerable Four has ever looked* I have to find him…
“I-I don’t know how to help, Four, I’m s-sorry.”
She’d slowly approach him just a little closer, eventually very briefly touching him with her hand.
*he flinched at the contact, but doesn’t do anything about it* it’s hopeless…we’re lost in the empty void…how will we even find our way back…what if…what if X is dead? What if he thinks I’ve abandoned him? Wait…shouldn’t you hate me? I eliminated you. Why are you being nice?
Leafy, noticing that he hadn’t done anything about physical contact- touches his arm. She was still shy about it, but that is a way to comfort him.. possibly.
“It’s a misunderstanding, he’s still alive and probably just wondering where you are..”
She’d avert her gaze.
“I’m being nice because I’ve been in your position before. I suppose I don’t like seeing others sad either.”
*he is shaking* I-I’m scared…I’ve always…had things under control…I always knew what would happen next…I always had X…now that he’s gone and I’m gone and earth is gone…I don’t know what to do…for the first time…I don’t have it under control…I don’t know what’s going to happen…and it’s…scary…
Leafy, very reluctantly pulled Four into a hug. You can tell she was uncomfortable because she was tense and her heart was beating very fast-but she tried to comfort Four.
“Uh.. it’ll be okay, not everything will be in your.. control, a-and that’s okay. I know that feeling far too well. You’ll be okay, I promise!”
*four tenses briefly but relaxes against leafy* I…I don’t understand…I don’t deserve your kindness…
“Everyone deserves kindness, and your no exception!”
Her heart rate became normal again and relaxed.
*four looks confused* e-even after everything I’ve done to you and everyone else?
She stopped for a moment, and blinks.. she’d sigh
“I know you’ve hurt us, but I still believe there is good in you- Four! I believe you can be good, and well.. not be sad!”
I-i can’t control it…the screeching…it’s an impulse…it just…happens…but…I guess I just have too much destructive energy for my own good. That’s why I depend on X so much…he keeps me balanced…
“I-It’s okay to depend on someone. That’s.. that’s natural. Don’t feel guilty.” Her hug tightened a little more
*four is on the verge of breaking down* *he doesn’t want to cry in front of leafy because he hates showing vulnerability and weakness*
She can tell he wanted to cry, so she’d pat him on the back.
“C’mon buddy, don’t hide how you feel. It isn’t good.”
*a few tears leak out of his eyes* I-I…*he makes a choked half sob noise*
She’d await the tears, she’d kept patting his back.
“Don’t be shy about it, alright? Everyone is vulnerable or weak at one point.”
*he finally just starts to sob, his body shaking*
She’d comfort him, hugging him and letting his tears just get the side of her wet. Kinda gross, but it’s all good.
“There, there. You’ll be okay, it’ll be okay.”
*all the emotions Four had been bottling up are spilling out of his eyes. It feels nice to finally let it all out*
Leafy shifted her position a bit so she can be comfortable.
“It ain’t good to hide your feelings.”
B-but I don’t want…people to see me like th-this…it’s embarassing…

“That’s a typical symptom of sadness.” She’d reassured him
S-sad? I’m not sad…I just…*he flushes in embarassment* *i also hc four as a tsundere*
“Cmon, yeah you are. It’s fine to be sad, no need to be so mad bout it. Yeah?” She chuckles
*four quickly wipes at his eyes* look…just forget this ever happened. Okay? I just got a little overwhelmed for a minute. No big deal.
Leafy felt suspicious, she’d let go and take a few steps back. “I won’t really forget, but I won’t bring it up. Glad your okay.”
So uh…will you help me find X? I-I mean…I don’t care about him or anything…but…if he’s dead I’ll kill him!
people die when they are killed ) Leafy smirks, she’d chuckle. She seemed like she knew what was going on, even. “I see what’s going on here, but worry not- I’ll help you find X.”
*he blushes* w-what do you mean? There’s nothing going on! Hmph.
She’d raise an eyebrow, chuckling “Yeah?” She’d lean in a bit, just teasing Four a lil.
*he blushes darker, stuttering his words a lot* w-w-well what do you th-think is going on…? I-it’s not like I c-care about X or a-anything.
She’d wink “I know how much you like and care for X.. and TOTTALLLLYYY in a friend way.”
H-hey! I don’t like X in that way! I-I…*four is blushing intensely with embarrassment*
“You-You what? Come on, just admit it.”
Admit what? Th-there’s nothing to admit! *his face is bright blue (because four blushes blue not red)*
“Cmon, you know. You don’t wanna admit that either though. Just admit the first question- ya like X.”
I-I…Fine…maybe I like him a little…and maybe I like him as more than a friend…but if you tell anyone I will murder you!
“Ah, there it is. Your crushing on X! And don’t worry, I ain’t telling anyone.”
*four crosses his arms and looks away* S-so what if I have a crush on X? I-it’s not like I’d ever tell him…
“Why not? Maybe he likes you back- who knows!” She winks and elbows him. Wink wink nudge nudge
*he buries his face in his hands* that’s a terrible idea. We would have to find X first, and even then…I’m not brave enough anyway…
She’d nudge him a little, circling him just a little. “Ask him, rejection is hard but who knows, you two seem like a cute couple”
F-fine…when we find him…I-I’ll…I’ll ask him…
“Atta, boy!” She pats his back.
W-we should go find him…he must be scared…*he blushes* n-not that I care or anything.
“No need to be shy, you just admitted you like X.” She grins a bit, smug.
Hmph. Whatever…where should we look first?
“Where do you think? You know him better than I do!”
Knowing X, he’s sobbing his eyes out in a corner somewhere. I hope he’s alright…*four mumbles the last part under his breath*
Leafy tilted her head a bit.
“What was the last part?”
*he blushes again* n-nothing!
“Hmm.. alright. Let’s get searching then.”
Okay. I think I know a spot to check first. *he motions for leafy to follow*
Leafy curiously follows, even if it can be dangerous.
“Alright then…”
Alright. If he’s not here, there’s two more places. Other than that…I have no idea…*four starts calling out to X*
Leafy calls out to X as well, trying to help
“We will have to find out…”
*four seems to be getting slightly panicked* X?! X!! ARE YOU HERE?! PLEASE BE ALRIGHT!
She puts a hand on Four’s shoulder.
“H-He’s alright, it will be okay. He’s safe somewhere. I’m sure!”
Leafy what if he’s dead? What if he hates me because he thinks I abandoned him?! What if-*he frantically calls X’s name again*
“Four! Four! Calm down! He’s okay, I promise it!”
I…I hope so…I dunno what I’d do without him…*he starts looking around, seeing if X is anywhere near*
Leafy scratches her head, noticing Four’s panicked behavior.
“I’ll just try to find him..” Leafy begins to search too.
