I know everyone loves to give Hobo!Phoenix shit in AA4 because he’s not acting like how he does in the trilogy, he messes with Apollo, he looks wasted in every scene with his sprites, and all sorts of other goodness

And don’t get me wrong, he’s not in the right a lot of times either but that’s not the point

My point is: even if Kristoph wasn’t who he turned out to be, he’s a terrible boss and a shit mentor

If you actually pay attention to how Kristoph talks to and treats Apollo before the first trial and even while in the courtroom, it should’ve set off some major red flags
