So, a while ago tumblr user modmad entertained the idea of having Professor Layton as a villain, and so me, the ever crazed for unused concept arts, wanted to show something to her. But I can’t submit stuff to her, so she suggested I just post it and send her a link.
Anyway Mod, in the Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney Artbook, we see some unused concept art of a “Dark Layton” which I think you’ll love:
