Uendo Toneido From Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice

A multiple-personality character!  They can be fun to design!  Let’s look at his four personas:

I like these!  Our main guy is the “base” and wears his ponytail normally, the jester character wears it straight up like a goof, the tough lady has it to the side in a sharp and threatening way, and the little boy flops it on his head to imitate child-like bangs.  Versatile, and you can tell that they’re four different people without overhauling the base design.  

I also see that his outfit is referencing the four temperaments.  

His green coat dominates the outfit, designating the phlegmatic Uendo as the “main” personality.  The two sides of his shirt, yellow and red, are for the choleric lady and the sanguine jester.  (Someone who has played the game will have to tell me if the jester has more to say than the lady, based on the fact that the red side slightly covers the yellow.)  And lastly, that little strip of black is for the melancholic little boy.  If he doesn’t come out much, it makes sense that his color would have the least presence in the outfit.
