@butchrandy rekindled my love for Ranlay, you would think after 2 years I would move on from this ship but nope, have some headcanons:
- Randall after the events has an extreme fear of being manipulated again, it takes him a while to warm up to Hersh again, but when he does, he trusts Hersh with almost anything
- Hersh and Randall lowkey dated in university, Angela was in on it and outwardly portrayed as Randall’s girlfriend since Randall knew how much of a physically affectionate and emotional person he was and being around Hersh, he didn’t want to be perceived as gay out of fear, and still in the closet
- Randall and Angela would have sleep overs and every time Randall goes on a 8 hour rant to Angela how much he loves Hersh
- Randall is more physically affectionate, while Hersh is more emotionally affectionate, however they both love the other’s display of affection and will switch depending on situation
- Randall learnt that Henry and Angela blamed Hersh for his death and Randall immediately visited Hersh at 3am and dived into his arms as soon as Hersh opened the door, apologising
- Hersh confessed to Randall that his lifestyle was based around him, Randall’s immediate response was Randall confessing that he loved Hersh
- Randall stays with Flora while Hersh and Luke go on adventures (bonus: they go on adventures themselves)
- Randall will literally appear at the university randomly just to see Hersh while he’s on his break
- “Hersh, I think I have a crush on you” “We’ve been married for 2 years, Randall”
- Hersh frequently catches Randall staring at him, looking extremely love struck
