Fury’s No Good, Awful Day at the Vet
This is Fury.
Some of you may know him from previous rants. (I love him but he is one Naughty Kitty… lives up to the superstition of black cats, but I wouldn’t change him)
Earlier today I posted how he managed to mess up his tooth and wasn’t eating and we were hoping he’d get into an earlier appointment today to be checked out, and likely have the tooth pulled.
Turns out, he should’ve been flossing. Or not running into staircases. Or just bad luck of the draw. He has bad teeth. Like… bad. How bad you ask?
Oh about $900-1400 to fix bad.
Yeah. Yikes.

Firstly, thank you for reblogging! I have an updated updated one somewhere, but my blog (as my life) is a mess, I can’t find it, so I’ll let you know how my Brat Son is doing.
He moved up the cancellation list and had his appointment on May 15th. Thank goodness! He was a champ through it and came home hella stoned and hungry. Caught him in the hard kibble the next day, when he was on a two week mostly liquid diet (mmm watered down wet food) Noticed Friday, the 18th, his breath was B A D , I knew something was wrong. Smelled like roadkill left for three weeks out in hot July sun. Not Good. Vet was closed and Saturday is appointment only, but my room mate was able to stop in and let them know that about the smell, how warm his head was, and the puffy and discoloured eyelid. He had an appointment for 1130 that day.
He was given a flushing and antibiotics bc the food got stuck in an incision and caused an infection. This boy I swear.
He healed up well after that!! He has been back to terrorizing the others since like day two of antibiotics.
We ended up raising 804$ of our 1000$ goal which is beyond anything I ever imagined!! The final bill came to 965$(ish) So everyone who helped spread the word, who liked and reblogged, who donated, Thank you so much!!
