Do you guy understand how like, AMAZING it is to tune into a cartoon and to see Ruby and Sapphire just have…a completely normal relationship with it’s ups and downs but they truly care for each other? Like I can tune into any other channel and get a straight version of it within seconds but here on this show it’s played off as so so SO healthy and loving?
and do you understand how amazing it is to feel absolutely NO fear for their relationship from this? That I don’t have any fear of it being teared away from me? Like this is Ruby and Sapphire, two characters that it’s honestly weird to say one name without the other after it because theyre so connected and in love with each other. Like I’m honestly just been like, ‘aww I wonder how they make up, it’s gonna be cute I bet!’ and not ‘god…I hope everything gets better..’ which hasn’t really been a thing when trying to find LGBT media
I dunno it’s just absolutely amazing that I can be able to watch a show like Steven Universe, I’m so happy
