“Hi, this is Phoenix- Phoenix Wright, from school. This message is for Miles. Um, hi. Happy New Year! So, I was wondering why you weren’t at school today. I got there real early and took your Christmas present with me in my backpack, and me and Larry waited outside for you for a long time, but you never showed up. That’s okay though, I’ll bring it again tomorrow and give it to you then. Just, next time can you maybe tell us if you’re not coming? ‘Cause we were all excited to see you today. That’s all. Bye!”

January 11

“Hi, this is Phoenix Wright again. I’m calling for Miles. You weren’t at school again today and you didn’t call back, so I thought I’d try calling you again. Maybe you’re taking an extra long winter break- that’s cool. But if you’re sick or something, I can bring you the homework and stuff. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. I can’t wait to talk to you about Christmas! Bye.”

January 13

“Hello, this is Phoenix Wright calling Miles Edgeworth. You’re not mad at us are you? I’m sorry if I did something wrong and I upset you. I didn’t mean to. Or if it was Larry I know he didn’t mean to either. We miss having you around, so, we’re sorry, okay? Bye.”

January 15

“Hello, Mr. Edgeworth? This is Phoenix Wright, Miles’s friend from fourth grade. I just realized that maybe he’s grounded or something and that’s why he can’t call, but, if that’s true- can you please just tell him that we miss him? Thank you. Goodbye.”

January 17

“Hi. It’s Phoenix again. It’s been a whole week now, and it’s weird because I don’t think you ever missed school before and I just wanna make sure that you’re okay. Larry’s started saying that you ditched us, but I keep telling him that’s not true. I’m not mad, I’m just starting to get real worried. Please lemme know if you get this, okay? Bye.”

January 22

“Um. This is Phoenix Wright… for the last time I guess, for now anyway. I figured maybe I shouldn’t keep on calling when you’re not responding, but I still wanted to leave just one more message. I don’t know what’s going on, and, if you don’t wanna come to school or talk to me, then that’s okay. But if you do, ever, you can call me at this number: 386-0000. Sorry if I’m bothering you, Miles. And sorry if I took up all the space on your answering machine, Mr. Edgeworth. …I hope you come back, Miles. B…bye… I guess.”
