sobs i am very distressed about animal crossing new leaf right now

My town has 9 dreamies and Poncho. I’ve been stuck with him for over a year, and i really want him gone. Now I’ve started looking it up and apparently it’s near impossible to get the newest villager out without moving someone else first? I’ve had a few people on this discord server say that it absolutely cannot be done via the ignoring method if you’ve already talked to them. I read somewhere that you can move in a new player and talk to everyone except for the 10th one and then they’ll leave? so i might try that and then yeet the new player away when i’m done

oof i’m very confused because a lot of the stuff i read was real confusing and some people contradicted each other. But I will absolutely NOT move out any of my other villagers, they are all dreamies and way too precious to me. I’ve been stuck with poncho for. over a year now.
