I’ll never understand how some people try to justify their gross shipping by saying “it’s just a kids show who cares what I ship you’re getting mad over nothing lol”.
First of all, you clearly love this show enough to be shipping in it. You care.
Second, if it’s a kids show then that makes it even more important to be careful. More and more kids are using the internet, and they’re going to look up fan content for their interests.
“Well then kids shouldn’t be using the internet!” Too late for that. Schools require internet usage. Employment requires it. Communication is very closely linked to it. Kids are using the internet, and they will continue.
We need to be setting a good example and not letting them think abusive/inc**t/p*do relationships are okay. Kids are more impressionable than you think.
