It seems like over the course of the movie Dr.Robotnik is going to be getting progressively worse and worse over the course of the movie until the end where he looks like the Eggman we all know and love.

I’m worried that the last picture is some kind of dream sequence cuz why is he in a field of giant mushrooms? The movie seems to take place in a world like this one so like. Why?
I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be mushroom hill zone.
