Here are some translated images of the cellphone game released in 2008, Professor Layton and the Mansion of the Deathly Mirror. I will be pursuing a project to translate this entire game.
This game is a Japanese exclusive and next to impossible to find, but I’m determined to get my hands on it as part of my revival project of Japanese-only Layton content.
Keep in mind I did all of these on my phone during a free period in class, and these images were virtually the only ones I could find on the face of the Internet, and they weren’t great in any regard. Once I get my hands on a Japanese cell containing the game, I will start actual work on translating the full thing. Please note this is NOT what the actual project will look like. I did these really quick to serve as a kind of rough debut that I am going to go at this. The ACTUAL translation project will be much more high quality, well-blended editing, and translation using an actual external Japanese keyboard and dictionary. Stay tuned!
