Reasons Professor Layton is an underrated series:

- amazing and clever puzzles
- storylines that aren’t too cliche and leaves you in tears every goddamn time
- even though it makes you cry it also makes you laugh and smile
- diversity in characters
- every character is so well designed and even the characters that you only talk to once have a certain personality and a very good design
- THE PLOT TWISTS
- cool sceneries and cosy cities
- music that makes you feel like you’re on a trip through france
- tHE FEELS
- solving an 80 picarats puzzle makes you feel like the smartest person in the world
- the cute lil sidequests that you can do
- the extra puzzles are rly fun
- there are still a shitton of daily puzzles

tl;dr the professor layton games don’t get the recognition they deserve
