Tyranitar is based on Godzilla.

In the latest Sword and Shield direct, it is stated one of the newest Pokemon, Duraludon, a Dragon/Steel- Type, shares a habitat with Tyranitar and are often seen fighting each other.

Therefore, Duraludon is based off of Mechagodzilla.
