I love how there is literally No naming system for Irkens and Invader Zim characters in general. With the Irkens, we got names like Zim, Tak and Red which might make you think "Oh, three letter names?" but then come in names like Purple, Alexovich and Chin. There's Dooky and Fart and El and Kim and Skoodge. There's Sizz-Lorr! who has an exclamation point in his name because why not! Best Irken name goes to Sneakyonfoota for being Sneakyonfoota. And then there is Lardnar, not to be confused with the Vortian Resisty leader Lard Nar. There's the Hobo from Hobo 13, all named Hobo (Number). And it's not just the aliens with names without naming system! One of the skool children in Dib's Class is literally called The Letter M. Dib's sister, Gaz, is actually called Gazlene as in gasoline. Their dad might even be called Membrane Membrane for all we know.

There is literally No naming system in Invader Zim besides go feral and have fun.

The article says that the guidelines have been updated. Instead of asking if you’re a man that’s had sex with another man in the past 3 months it asks everyone regardless of gender if they’ve had anal sex with a new partner or if they’ve had anal sex with multiple partners in the past 3 months.

This both opens up blood donation to msm in exclusive relationships or who don’t have anal sex and more accurately identifies hiv risk from people who aren’t msm. This is exactly the sort of guidelines we’ve been fighting for for years. This is a major win for both gay rights and blood donation in the US. Now a bunch of people who couldn’t donate before can donate now.
