i see many many people on this website reblogging punk aesthetic pictures of work boots, and you all need to be aware of lace code. if you see ladder laced black boots with white laces, don’t reblog it! inform the person who reblogged it of what it means!
as for information not included in the article, pink laces indicate gay basher/killer, checkerboarded laces stand for racial unity, and yellow laces are actually a symbol for SHARP (skinheads against racial prejudice)
if any of you intend on being involved in any real life punk subculture, learn the dogwhistles used by fascists in that community to protect yourself and the minorities around you. not to advertise any organization, but if you’re gonna be a punk, be a SHARP.
