I appreciate that Phoenix and Apollo were both designed to fill identical roles (heroic rookie attorney protagonist with a snarky internal monologue) but still have really distinct and noticeable personalities, and what I mean by that is Phoenix Wright’s primary character trait is that he would willingly take a bullet for anyone whose ever been nice to him, while Apollo Justice’s primary character trait is the high-strung nervous energy of a desperate-to-impress intern who only drinks black coffee watching his idealism about the career he took out 100k in student loans for die a strangled death.
