He is facing off against Phoenix and Trucy, who both are hiding their heads in their hands. On the stand is Larry Butz, acting obnoxious. Miles says, “How did this HAPPEN, Wright?!”
The third image shows Miles and Phoenix walking away from the camera, much empty space around them. Phoenix has a cast on his leg and is walking with crutches, and Miles has a hand on his back to support him. Miles sighs and say, “How did this happen, Wright…”
The fourth image shows a stunningly shocked and angry Miles holding a phone to his ear. His expression is most likely caused by the documents he is holding, which appear to have multiple bites taken out of them. He thunders, “HOW.”
The fifth image shows Phoenix sitting on the ground and smiling, his clothes in rags, bandages decorating him. Miles kneels down next to him and puts a hand on his shoulder, looking concerned. Behind them are a litany of police cars and officers. Miles says, “How did this happen, Phoenix?”
The sixth image shows Trucy in pajamas, peeking through a doorway at Phoenix and Miles who are sitting on a couch. Phoenix is covering his face with a hand, and Miles has a consoling hand on his back. Miles whispers, “Shhhh, it’s okay, Phoenix, it’s okay. Just breathe, that’s it, good… everything will be alright. I promise you this. How did this happen?”
The seventh image shows Miles sitting at a candlelit table, leaning back in his chair with a hand against the table as he shrieks with laughter. Phoenix, leaning his arms on the other chair, looks like he’s been through a bush backwards, and is holding a drooping bouquet of what might have been flowers once. Despite this, he’s smiling widely, as Miles struggles through his laughter to ask, “How!”
The eighth image shows both of them sitting on the edge of Phoenix’s desk. Phoenix looks smug, bringing a hand to his chin as he smiles with his eyes closed, one leg over the other. Miles looks shocked as he stares at some files, hand planted behind him to support him. He thinks, “How did this happen?”
The ninth image shows Miles leaning back, lightheartedly smug, as he gestures to Phoenix, who is laughing with a hand over his face as he drapes his other arm over Miles’s shoulder. Miles says, “And how did that happen again, Phoenix Wright?”
The tenth image shows Miles and Phoenix as kids, looking at a burst football. Miles looks thoughtful, hand on his chin, and Phoenix looks worried as he says, “Hmmm. How did this happen?”
The eleventh image is a collection of panels. We see the tops of a suburban neighbourhood in the morning, light that shine through the curtains onto a sleeping Miles. Miles wakes slowly, shielding his eyes from the sun with a hand, before stopping to look at the wedding band on his hand. He looks to Phoenix, who is sleeping soundly next to Miles. Miles smiles and hugs Phoenix closer, both of their wedding bands visible as he thinks, “How?”
