jkr and forstater are attacking mermaids again for giving trans teenagers binders simply because they aren’t a medical company and binders can damage the body if worn too long. so here’s some things that can also do permanent damage to the body if worn for too long / used improperly but no one fearmongers about in quite the same way:
- sports bras
-push up bras
-headphones
-high heels
no one demands that a company can only sell these if they’re medical though.
not giving trans teenagers binders isn’t going to stop them binding their chests. they will just bind their chests in other ways that are far far more unsafe.
it’s nothing to do with danger and simply because they do not like trans people.
