hurts my heart when i see people complain about professor layton being silly and unrealistic as if that is a bug and not a feature. “this doesnt make sense” “this wouldnt work” “blah blah logistics” SO WHAT!!! these are silly games with silly twists and that is why they are good!!!! the boy talks to animals!!!!!!! stop going to the dishwasher and going Ugh why are there forks in here

thing is ace attorney isnt really that realistic either. theres spirit channeling ghost story lines and the court system (while in a fictional world that isnt exactly like the legal system in real life) is fucking bonkers ridiculous crazy and like. so much of the bullshit that happens is definitely not realistic.

i think both series being so silly is what allowed them to have such a good crossover lol. both series have impacted each other a whole lot (with professor’s character being somewhat inspired by phoenix wright and also ace attorney as a series changing so much from the crossover they did). anyways point is: silly stuff is good play these games

The article says that the guidelines have been updated. Instead of asking if you’re a man that’s had sex with another man in the past 3 months it asks everyone regardless of gender if they’ve had anal sex with a new partner or if they’ve had anal sex with multiple partners in the past 3 months.

This both opens up blood donation to msm in exclusive relationships or who don’t have anal sex and more accurately identifies hiv risk from people who aren’t msm. This is exactly the sort of guidelines we’ve been fighting for for years. This is a major win for both gay rights and blood donation in the US. Now a bunch of people who couldn’t donate before can donate now.
