Day two. My husband still hasn’t noticed the first.

Day 3, he still hasn’t said anything yet. So I’ve gotten more bold and placed this on his work desk.

Day 4, he found the third and first picture last night. When he found the first he laughed and started talking in his Sonic voice impression. Still hasn’t found the fridge ice cream wrapper.

Day 5, he found the fourth image and laughed. Trying to be more sneaky with this sunflower Sonic.

Day 6, he hasn’t noticed the flower picture yet. I put this in my art studio for motivation to get stuff done.

Day 7, “Uh Meow?” Is now our new bathroom decor.

Day 8, he hasn’t noticed the last few photos yet. So I photoshopped Sonic’s head over him on one of our wedding photos.

Day 9, Friday callout in front of our video game shelf.

Day 10, Thistle now has her own photo of her hero. Meanwhile, my husband found the sunflower picture and the wedding picture. When he found the wedding photo he said, “Wait, what is that? Who is this? Is that me? Haha! Chili dogs!” Later he asked if this was a game.

Day 11, He thought the idea of the picture on Thistle’s home was adorable. Now we’ll see what he thinks about the one in his favorite car.

Day 12, he loved the car photo. Now I’ve placed this photo of my mom and I in the spare bedroom.

Day 13, since Thistle has her own photo of Sonic it only felt right to give Zorro one too.

Day 14, he approved of Zorro’s new collar and found the game shelf photo as he was modding the gamecube to connect to our tv. So I placed this old goofy photo of my high school friends by our bed.

Day 15, he noticed Sonic in the picture from yesterday just stating, “And then there was Sonic.” My favorite thing about all this is that he hasn’t taken any of these pictures down himself. So now I placed this in our kitchen.

Day 16, Put this in his weight room to motivate him. He found the kitchen picture and finally found the bathroom photo. He said, “Ugh! Gremlin Sonic is just there and watches as you poop.”

Day 17, for April Fools I changed his screens to Eggman.

Day 18, He laughed at the Eggman computer screens. Now we have more bathroom decor. In case he forgets where the toilet is.

Day 19, it was a big day for my husband. He came into my art studio to hug me and finally found golden ratio sonic and started laughing, then he went to work out and found muscular sonic. He wants a bigger poster version of it. Finally, he found toilet sign sonic. He said I make his life very funny. We’ll see if he feels the same after this sign I made for his car.

Day 20, he came home from work and immediately found me saying, “Very funny, I saw what you did to my car.” Unfortunately no one has honked their horn at him yet. But I did add this safety message in our laundry room. Thanks, Sonic.

Day 21, Super Sonic around the six chaos hedgehogs.

Day 22, secret rings Sonic will keep the house warm in our fireplace. Husband has not noticed any new Sonic’s yet.

Day 23, My husband came to me and said, “There’s a Sonic in our fireplace.” I told him he’s there to keep us warm. Now I have turned another wedding photo into a Sonic wedding. It has the blessing of these fellow hedgehogs.

Day 24, my husband found the wedding photo and the dryer warning photo, he told me he won’t climb inside the dryer but once I take it down all bets are off. Later he said, “So you know my family is coming over tomorrow for dinner right?” I said yes. Then he said, “The Sonic photos are all over the house.” Then I said, “Are you asking me to stop and take them down?” He said no because he thinks it’s funny but thought I might want to take them down myself. We agreed to leave them up and when his family inevitably asks about them we’ll tell them the sonic photos are like an Easter egg hunt. So here’s this Easter Sonic. Later he did ask if I was trying to perform psychological warfare on him with these Sonic photos.

Day 25, husband didn’t see Easter Sonic, even though he entered that room multiple times. His family also didn’t notice any of the Sonic’s until after dinner. My brother in-law started laughing when he saw the picture of Sonic in the fireplace. Then my sister in-law mentioned she saw the president’s photo in the cabinet but thought she was just seeing things. They laughed when I told them it’s like an Easter egg hunt but with Sonic. I actually had to point out the edited photo of Sonic’s head over my husband. So now I have decided to get more creative with this photo to see if my husband will read it.

Day 26, no new updates so here’s a frozen Sonic in the freezer.

Day 27, he thought frozen Sonic was cute. It got me thinking we don’t have enough positive messages in the house. So I fixed that by hanging this in his office.

Day 28, He found the Dankey Kang photo and asked if that really happened. So now I placed a picture of Sonic pasta by our soup cans.

Day 29, He found the Super Sonic picture by the chaos hedgehogs and said, “Aw Sonic has babies.” Then he found the live laugh love photo and went oh that’s cute and then he realized the Sonic faces in them and laughed and said, “Oh good, it was a joke. I just didn’t want to hurt your feelings that I don’t like those signs.” We agreed I should have made it said Live and Learn. So now I put this Sonic with his car in the garage.

One month, this has been going on for a month now. I applaud my husband for putting up with my garbage for this long.

Day 31, He found soup Sonic and trash can Sonic. So now I placed this Sonic on his prized Sega genesis/32X/Sega CD console.

Day 32, today we have acquired a Sonic powered fan. He thought the Sonic on his genesis was fitting. He also tried to guess how many Sonic’s have taken over the house. He guessed 15.
