The Roboreptile by WowWee! (I named her Beth)
It was released in 2006 and I believe discontinued short after. I had one of these as a kid! I remember it wasn't particularly articulated but could move around really well, and it played sounds. It uses a bunch of sensors to interact with it's environment, like IR, sound, and touch sensors. It also came with a remote. It also had quite a personality! It usually was hungry and angry and very rarely was in a good mood. It has a variety of animations it can go through, like an attacking one. I honestly don't remember it very well but from what I've read it sounds like a very complex toy! If I get my hands on Beth's remote I'd love to see if she works
