my parents have always been pretty abusive, but today they crossed a line i never thought they’d step over.

Help keep my boyfriend safe and move him out of a toxic home

My boyfriend Donovan and I have been together for nearly 7 years. We’ve been in a long distance relationship for most of it but we’ve met up once before in London.

He’s kindhearted and generous and caring and warm. He’s been nothing but a wonderful man who’ve given me endless amounts of love for the past 7 years.

He lives in California while I study in London. His father is an abusive workaholic who controls Don’s financial situation and his home, and keeps him trapped there and constantly berates him with verbal abuse. I don’t really want to go into more information than that.

Its come to a point where Don needs to move out, and he needs a place to stay and a car and with his part time job and school its hard to do any of that. His mental health is also not the best thing so he struggles to handle things (but he’s trying his damn hardest!!) I’m really really sorry, but I have to ask for help.

hey sorry to interrupt, i’m noodles and i’m in some urgent need of $5000!

the man on the right was my father, he died on the 22nd of April due to a heart attack. Sadly, we couldn’t do anything to save him.

He had no family of his own, and nobody loved or cared for him. Only my mother, sister and I who sadly left him 9 years ago but wanted him back.

we wanted him back, but not like this

on the 8th of may we received a phone call that he had been dead for 2 weeks, laying in a morgue who no longer wanted his body. They decided they were going to bury him under the government.

the government wanted to just throw away his body like trash, they thought nobody was left to love him or care for him. but that’s not true. we love him and care for him.

he was a great guitarist and singer who just wanted to get somewhere in life, but life went downhill once his son died (the boy in the middle pictured above) of blood cancer at the age of 4.

My mother has no family to help her with the payment of his burial, my sister and i have no job or any way of getting money. We chose to cremate his body since it was cheaper, the total cost comes to around $5000. Please help us with money for the funeral. If we don’t pay for it within a month, he will be buried by the government. I don’t want my father just chucked to the side like a nobody nothing. He was our somebody everything.

Apparently Nickelodeon wants to build an attraction in Palawan, Philippines .

This might seem fun for some people, but for us it’s not.

You see, Palawan is known for its non-commercialized islands and untouched beaches. There are only a few resorts in there, and the government limits tourism population there. Here are some pictures of our beautiful islands:

Nickelodeon, however, wants to capitalize the island of Coron, Palawan. They’re going to build a resort and theme park there. They claim that they want to “spread environmental awareness” but they’re really not. Building this resort will disrupt the marine ecosystem; thus destroying the environment there. Also, Palawan is our last ecological frontier in the Philippines. If they’re going to continue to do this, more and more big companies will cash-in to commercialize Palawan- and I really do not want that to happen.

I know petitions won’t do much, but at least we can prove a point that Palawan should not be disrupted. Please sign this petition, so that it will not only show that us Filipinxs don’t want this, but people from different countries as well. Please spread it around as well, so that people from different countries can be aware of what Nickelodeon is doing.

Gotta spread this myself. I’m Filipina and the conservation of home is incredibly important to me. Pollution is already a huge issue throughout the country’s cities. Many islands including Palawan are home to not just beautiful nature but some of the last of our untouched, uncolonized heritage.
