File No. 008: Ham and Cheese… “Who killed Pig?”
No contest, this is my favourite case. I love Diane so much and letting Lucy take the reigns of an investigation is a blast. It’s also just so damn creepy and I wish more of the cases had taken the really unique tone this one did.

K but how did Diane Makepeace even GET such fancy clothes like what does she do for a living that she’s able to rig up a castle and go into hiding thievery w/ no trouble
I kinda assumed the Makepeaces were either mafia bosses or extremely well paid assasins.

Also in the Ham and Cheese case Diane said that her father worked for the victim who if I remember correctly was a banker of some kind, so maybe Keelan was a Patrick Bateman type

Layton: One bonus of being a dad is grossly misusing modern slang on purpose and watching my son cry inside.
Layton: A fine example: the other day I pointed at a passing meteor and, while looking Alfendi right in the eye, went “Man, is that bae or what, huh?” and the look on his face was something I will treasure for years.
