Ok, so I’m not sure if anyone else has this headcannon, but I headcannon Robin Newman as a trans girl??? I mean, we’re given little reason as to why she feels the need to wear that brace at the first part of the game, other than “THIS SHOWS OFF MY MASCULINITY, MANNNN!!!”, but when she takes it off, she has no problem expressing that she hates the brace, and seems eager to let everyone know she’s a girl
I always found it odd that she even wore the brace in the first place??? Why?? It’s not like she enjoys hiding her identity, she actually seems stressed and under immense pressure until she takes the brace off. Well, the only thing I could think of is that her parents are transphobic. Maybe they won’t let her be herself. Maybe she wears the brace because her parents make her. I mean, they have been shown to be controlling, forcing her to go into law when the lil muffin just wanted to make art for a living.
Also, note how she says that she was “Raised as a boy” when she was little.
