One of my favorite parts about the end of the Steven Universe movie is how Spinel stayed in the form she took after learning she’d been abandoned. I get there’s the thing about a gem having to poof before taking on a new look but I really think her staying that way is a good message that even if things seemed good before, things don’t have to be how they used to in order to be good again.
The music that plays when Lapis and Peridot appear in Change Your Mind… is both of their theme songs mixed together!
