Anyways, I decided to do some Invader Zim/Inanimate Insanity Watercolors, cuz I suck, and my camera ruined the quality.
Invader Zim watercolors :3
First time using watercolors, started out as a sketch of Zim and then I wanted to add color and then this happened XD
after re-watching all the episodes of invader zim, i came up with what is most likely a shit theory, but a theory none the less. you see, my theory involves two things,
1.) professor membrane is an irken
2.) Dib is a hybrid clone
lets start with my reasoning for number 1
here’s the facts:
the humans of the earth universe are very….. not smart. the professor however is a very extremely skilled scientist.
his interactions with his offspring are limited, and almost seem as though he doesnt know what it means to be part of a family.
he wears a suit 24/7 that covers his whole face below his eyes, almost like the irken technicians
his goggles look almost like irken eyes
and other scientists from the show dont have this quality.
why would an irken be on earth though? and why would they clone two children to raise?
another possible theory is that the mother was an irken, who possibly fell in love with a human? one thing remains for sure, an irken knew about earth before zim was sent there, otherwise who would put this here?
now onto theory number two~
heres the facts;
dib seems to be smarter the average human, like their father.
dib’s mother has never been shown.
taks brainwashing doesn’t work on dib.
in the un-aired episode “ten minutes to doom” zim says that his pak is un-compatible with human biology and would’ve killed dib, but it seemed to perfectly integrate into him.
dib has been shown to be skilled in fighting, and has even pinned down zim a few times, the guy who flipped that chick from the saucer morons.

when a smeet is ready to be born the neutral face smiles. does this mean the irken in dib isn’t ready yet? is possible that in the un-aired “invader dib” episode was not dib disguising as an irken, but turning into one?

As Dib gets bored one day and grabs his camera, as a side hobby, Youtube comes into play at some point. Though it starts small and cringey, Dib eventually manages to work the channel up as he grows up, too. He gets tall, smarter, funnier and all over more entertaining, dragging in viewers to watch parody paranormal videos and others near the same subject. Eventually, in about the third year, Gaz gets introduced to this channel of his. They then begin to host the channel together. Not only becoming much closer to one another, but gaining more popularity. Soon enough, they were big enough to settle and get comfortable. …And get income.
The Membranes soon enough became Youtubers. ..Not well known Youtubers, but, they were plenty popular. The Membranes ended up getting taller, more mature, etcetera. These videos they were making didn’t go unnoticed by the Skool in their later years. Dib had began to notice how the other kids, now teens, were treating them different. Nicer, kinder, and most importantly… ..He and his sister were suddenly attractive. Zim did not treat them any different, however. He was just curious why everyone else was. Dib has grown out of his ‘expose Zim’ phase by this time, figuring Earth is fine anyway, so. He decided to introduce Zim to the audience. He hated it, but secretly loved it.
In short, the Membranes had become the High Skool Hunks because of their Youtube channel. They also have a nice audience who are excited for their next videos, they also gave compliments to Zim once he showed up, claiming how they were ‘excited to see him again.’ They are all very happy with these events.
Mod decided to add some sketches that were the inspiration for this Headcanon!
I need a YouTube channel dedicated to dib videos. I need a WORLD dedicated to Dib.
Dib and Gaz begin to use the channel for smaller things as well, Zim even helps. Such as, Gaz and Zim have invented a new deal like game revolving around Dib. Each time they say “Dib Dab”, he has to drop whatever he has and dab. They have the camera on them at all times because of this. In the hall, in class, at home, at Zims base, in the grocery store, wherever they feel it’s necessary to have Dib dab. They have a two hour long compilation of this on Youtube. All three of them hang out a lot more often due to this. At Zims house, at the Membranes house, at the park, etc. Due to Zims Irken traits, they can use this to make funnier videos, such as, Dib speaks to Gaz in the Skool hall, and tells her to ‘stick that leg up real high’ in a usual meme voice. She attempts, but is outshined entirely by their Irken friend in the background, who manages to get his ankle over his head without using hands. Content like this is endless when they post.
I just busted out laughing. Zim. With his leg. In. The. Air.
This has to exist somewhere and if not I DEMAND someone draw this.
